Join Art with Liz every week at the library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners. All are welcome!
For our second session, our artist of focus will be Glendalys Medina, a conceptual interdisciplinary visual artist and received an MFA from Hunter College. She creates work that amplifies marginalized voices, deconstructs and reconstructs image, language and systems to incite a change in cognitive structures that occur because of an experience. We will be creating mosaic collages during this class. This will be our double afternoon class.
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
