Stevens Institute hosts a free lecture and discussion at Hoboken Public Library!
Join us to explore Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain's radical vision—her critique of gender oppression and ideas on education, technology and leadership in colonial India.
Hosted by the Stevens School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences in partnership with the Hoboken Public Library, this Campus Point Connection will invite Smaran Dayal, an assistant professor of literature at Stevens, and Ben Baer, an associate professor of comparative literature at Princeton University, to discuss their book Spider-Mother: The Radical Feminist Writings of Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain.
