Art with Liz: Lecture and Workshop

Featured Artist, Dhara Rivera

Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!

For this class our featured artist will be Dhara Rivera an ecology focused sculptor who creates surrealistic installations. Art students will be
invited to think about natural disasters they have lived through and then create their own found object sculpture to express their
remembered emotions felt during a “disaster” experience.

Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners. All are welcome!

This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.

Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
