Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!
I this class we will focus on the work of Nicholas Galanin. He is a Sitka Tribe of
Alaska multi-disciplinary artist and musician of Tlingit and Unangax̂ descent. His work often
explores a dialogue of change and identity between Native and non-Native communities. His
work is multi-disciplinary and multi-media. He has created masks and we will explore mask
making and collageinspirer by his designs.
All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners.
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube. All are welcome!
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
