Small Program Room & Garden

Join us for an evening of music and literature as we listen to the 2026 Grammy Award Winning album "Bloom" by Durand Bernarr and read books by Black authors.

HPL's Black History Music Series will take place in the small programming room Wednesday February 18th at 5:30pm. We will highlight an album by a Black artist to listen to while you read your book.

At this event you can expect snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, soothing music, and a small curation of books hand picked by our staff and written by Black authors.
