The Hoboken Public Library invites you to a special evening in conversation with trailblazer, Hoboken resident, and children’s book author Maria Pepe. Maria will discuss her historic role in changing Little League and her inspiring children’s book, The Girl Who Changed Little League, which shares her story with a new generation of readers.

Maria will be joined by local children’s book author Raakhee Mirchandani for a thoughtful conversation about her experiences, the importance of representation in sports, and the power of perseverance.

This event is perfect for families, educators, and community members interested in local history, youth empowerment, and inspiring stories of change. Copies of Maria Pepe’s book will be available for purchase courtesy of Little City Books.
