Learn watercolor techniques to create flowing cherry blossom & magnolia branch compositions!
Celebrate the delicate beauty of spring through this watercolor workshop inspired by cherry blossoms and magnolias. In this session, participants will learn to capture the soft petals, subtle gradients, and flowing branch compositions that make these blooms timeless subjects in art with Smriti Sangal of Culture Chauraha.
Through guided demonstrations and individual practice, participants will explore techniques like wet-on-wet blending; layering translucent washes; and using negative space to create light, airy floral compositions. Participants can choose between creating a focused floral study or a more expressive botanical piece combining both blossoms.
Perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike, this workshop offers a mindful, creative escape — where each brushstroke captures the fleeting elegance of spring. All materials will be provided; just bring your curiosity and love for color!
