Art with Liz: Lecture and Workshop

Featured Artists: Goya, Delacroix, Constable and Turner

Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!

For the first class we will choose a poem by William Shakespeare and is considered great ode to
love Sonnet 116. Because it is a sonnet in homage to love. We will look at the art of some of
the great Romantic painters. These were the artists who reveled in unleashing their emotions
onto the canvas and revealing their innermost passions through paint! Artists like Goya,
Delacroix, Constable, Turner will be our artists of focus. Students will then be invited to create
their own images in the Romantic style.

This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.

Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
