Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!
This class will bring us a lovely Brontë poem called loved and friendship which explores
whether or not love or friendship withstands the tests and tribulations of time. Short and pithy -
the poem packs strong emotions and provides a lot of strong feelings particularly at the end.
Images of famous paintings about friendship will be viewed and discussed. Participants in this
class will be invited to collect their own thoughts and feelings about anything that happened to
them in the past few, very difficult weeks and then create an abstract image of forcing those
strong memories.
All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners. All are welcome!
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
