Large Program Room

Join Bridgeway for the first session of our Mental Health Awareness Series covering behavioral health services, depression awareness, and suicide prevention resources. Registration required.

The library is proud to partner with Bridgeway for a new Mental Health Awareness Series designed to connect community members with trusted information, compassionate support, and local resources.

This first session will introduce general behavioral health services and explore topics including depression awareness and suicide prevention. Participants will learn about available supports, how to recognize when someone may benefit from additional help, and ways to access care for themselves or loved ones.

This program is intended to create a respectful, non-judgmental space where mental health can be discussed openly. Mental health experiences exist on a wide spectrum, and seeking support is a sign of strength. The session will focus on education, awareness, and practical resources while encouraging empathy, understanding, and community connection.

Please note that sensitive topics related to mental health will be discussed. Attendees are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level, and sharing personal experiences is always optional.

Presentation Led by:
Stephanie R. Simon, LCSW, NCPsyA, CCS, DRCC
Vice President of Outpatient Services

Registration Required.
