Join Hoboken Public Library for an author talk with Jim Wright on The Peregrine Falcon, followed by a conversation with Mr. Train. Free and open to all.

The Hoboken Public Library is pleased to welcome author Jim Wright for a special presentation on his book The Peregrine Falcon: The Epic Life and Times of the World’s Fastest Creature.

In this captivating talk, Wright explores the extraordinary life of the peregrine falcon, its unmatched speed, survival story, and remarkable comeback from near extinction. Drawing from years of research and firsthand observation, he brings to life the science, behavior, and resilience of this iconic bird, as well as its surprising adaptation to urban environments.

Following the presentation, Mr. Train will lead a conversational Q&A with the author, offering attendees the opportunity to dive deeper into Wright’s work and ask questions about peregrine falcons, conservation, and the writing process.

This program is free and open to the public. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, a reader of wildlife nonfiction, or simply curious about one of the world’s most fascinating animals, this event promises an informative and engaging evening for all.

Little City Books will be onsite for book purchases.

Doors open at 6PM - Presentation starts at 6:30PM followed by discussion led by Mr. Train.
