Our second artist will be the extraordinary Anna Claypoole Peale. She was a member of an
artistic dynasty. She came from a family of artists including her siblings and father. Her renown
came from her work as a portraitist but most especially for her miniatures. It is estimated that
she created more that 200 of them. After looking at and admiring some of her output, students
will make their own portraits - either self-portraits or portraits of the model.
All are welcome!
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
