Art with Liz: Lecture and Workshop

Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!

For our first class on August 5, our artist of interest will be Asher B. Durand. Durand was one of the greatest painters of the Hudson River School of painters. His landscapes are transcendent in their almost photographic realism. Each one of his paintings captures the essence of nature and the season in which he is painting. Students will create their own landscapes and practice specific skills
related to doing landscape work.

All are welcome!

This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.

Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
