Fine Motor Skills Prep
Through hands-on activities such as finger painting, collages, and sensory crafts, children explore creativity while developing fine motor skills, language, and early literacy concepts.
ResilienCity Park Community Room -
Monday, September 28
1:30pm - 2:00pm
Through hands-on activities such as finger painting, collages, and sensory crafts, children explore creativity while developing fine motor skills, language, and early literacy concepts.
Join us for Apple Season! We will be focusing on four worksheets (and skills) this week:
- Prizewinning Apples (practice cutting and gluing)
- Apple Name Page (tracing, coloring, and pattern recognition)
- Apples Dropping (scissor skills)
- Messy Munches (pincer grasp, hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and bilateral coordination)
Each session is designed to be completed in approximately 30 minutes, though the flexible nature of the program allows your child to progress at a comfortable speed. The program provides a fun opportunity for caregivers to participate and support their child's learning and development and requires hands on participation from participants of all ages.
Fine Motor Skills Prep is an interactive art and craft program for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers.
