National Night Out returns to Hoboken on Tuesday, August 4 from 5-9 PM, taking place on the streets surrounding Church Square Park at Fifth and Garden Streets. This annual community-building event brings neighbors, first responders, and public safety partners together for an evening of connection and celebration, hosted by the City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Police Department.
Hoboken Public Library will be on-site with a table of our own. Stop by to:
- Sign up for a new library card, or renew your existing one
- Learn about library resources and programs available to you
- Browse a selection of books available for checkout
- Grab some free library swag while supplies last
Alongside the library, you'll find representatives from the Hoboken Fire Department, EMS and Volunteer Ambulance Corps, CERT, and other public safety and community partners. The event also features a bounce house, water slide, obstacle course, a Jaws of Life demonstration, free shaved ice, hot dogs, French fries, music, family entertainment, and a sensory-friendly comfort and cooling zone.
National Night Out is free and open to all ages. Come meet your neighbors, connect with public safety professionals, and stop by the library table to see what's new.
