This week's class will bring us the delightful paintings of the American Impressionist painter Edward Henry Potthast. Potthast was the master of beach scenes. He often focused on paintings of happy people frolicking seaside. Students will also create their own beach scenes using water colors, acrylics and oil pastels. Impressionist techniques will be revisited.
All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners. All are welcome!
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
