Writing Workshop

Write & Share: Prompts & Projects is a bi-weekly space for writers looking for dedicated time to practice their craft. Drafting a novel, developing a short story, or exploring a new idea? This is your opportunity to put words on the page in the company of fellow writers.

Each session features optional writing prompts centered around a theme or specific tool in the writer's toolbox (character development, dialogue, show vs. tell, plot development, worldbuilding, etc.). This program is for those looking for a creative spark, extra practice, or dedicated focus time to work on their own projects. No pressure, just time set aside to help us continue our writing momentum and get closer to finishing any projects.

Email sean.willey@hobokenlibrary.org with any questions, and click register if interested in joining us.

Then, also consider our monthly Writer’s Group - a supportive group of fellow writers giving feedback and insights designed to help shape your work for self or traditional publication.

Write & Share is the perfect complement - a regular space to develop and refine the work you'll bring to the table.
