Learn about microscopic members of our underground metropolis. Learn who these microbes are, why you want them in your soil and ways to help them flourish for the health of your garden or farm. Soil health provides a wide array of benefits to people and the planet, including potential for increased farm productivity and profit. 10/26 Saturday 11am in Small Programming Room at Hoboken Main Library.
Instructor: Erin Shroll, horticulturist of 25yrs, embarking on a new business, Blue Herons Farm and Native Nursery with business partner, Gisela Ferrer. Throughout her career, Erin has enjoyed many aspects of horticulture including her research on green roofs. Currently working as Program Supervisor of Agriculture Business and Horticulture Science at Sussex County Community College and recently enrolled in Nicole Masters’ CREATE program, Erin is intensively studying regenerative agricultural practices.
