Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!
Our second artist for this month will be Tony Cappellan from the Dominican Republic who creates art from
waste washed up from the sea. He takes refuse and makes extraordinary installations that
speak to the dangers off pollution in surprisingly beautiful and very meaningful ways. Students
will also create assemblage using found objects to express their own thoughts and feelings
about our world of changing climate and unpredictable weather patterns.
All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of any level, including beginners.
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
